About jobss.today

jobss.today lists jobs across Sri Lanka and helps people looking for work and employers find each other. You can search by job title and city, post a work profile, and connect directly with a company when you both agree.

We do not ask for photos or CVs. A work profile shows a first name, the jobs you are looking for, your location, experience and skills.

There are two kinds of jobs on jobss.today:

• Jobs posted by companies on jobss.today. When you are signed in and open the job, you see the company's apply instructions or contact details if they added them. You can also tap I'm Interested.
• Jobs from other sources, such as official company career pages. These are collected automatically, show a short summary only, and link to the original listing with an Apply Now button. You apply on that website, so I'm Interested and Invite are not used for these jobs. Some are reviewed by our team before they appear; others from trusted sources appear automatically.

Signed-out visitors can see a short list of jobs and the basic facts of each job. Signing in is free and shows application details. Each signed-in person can open a set number of different full job listings each day for free.

Jobs close on their closing date. Imported jobs without a closing date close 30 days after they are added. If you see a job that looks wrong, use Report this job on the job page.

The match score is a simple rule-based score out of 100. It compares the job with a work profile on five things: job role, location, years of experience, expected salary and when the person can start. It does not use photos, age, gender or religion.

• 90 and above: Top Match
• 85 to 89: Strong Match
• 70 to 84: Good Match
• 55 to 69: Possible Match

People see Jobs That Match You. Companies see People Who Match This Job. Interest, invites and connections are only ever created by a person tapping a button. We never add fake activity.

This section explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain words. It applies to jobss.today and its pages.

• Account details: your email address and sign-in details.
• Work profile details you enter: first name, last name initial, location, jobs you want, experience, work history, skills, languages, education, availability, expected salary, About Me, phone and WhatsApp.
• Company details you enter: company name, logo, location, description, hiring contact name, phone and WhatsApp.
• Activity on the site: jobs you opened each day (to apply the daily free limit), interests, invites, connections, profile views by companies, reports and claims.
• Pass purchases: the pass type, amount, status and the payment reference from the payment processor.

We use this information to run the site: to show jobs, calculate match scores, apply free limits and passes, show interests, invites and connections, prevent abuse, and answer reports. We do not sell personal information.

• A person's phone, WhatsApp and email are shared with a company only after they are Connected: the person tapped I'm Interested and the company sent an Invite for the same job.
• A company viewing a work profile, or having a paid Hiring Pass, does not unlock that person's contact details.
• A company's hiring contact details on its own job posts can be seen by signed-in people who open that job.
• You can turn off "Let companies find my profile" or pause your work profile at any time.

Imported jobs link to other websites, such as company career sites. When you tap Apply Now you leave jobss.today, and that website's own terms and privacy policy apply. We keep only a short summary and the link, and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.

Passes are optional and last 30 days. They do not renew automatically. When online payment is available, payments are handled by a payment processor (PayHere). The processor receives the transaction and payment details needed to take the payment; jobss.today does not store card numbers. We only store the pass type, amount, status and payment reference.

Online payment may not be switched on yet. A pass is only activated after the payment processor confirms the payment.

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on jobss.today. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as page requests, for security and reliability.

• You can edit your work profile or company profile at any time from Profile.
• A work profile is shown to companies for 30 days at a time. After that it stops appearing in Find Staff until you renew it. You can also pause it.
• Connections stay in place so both sides keep each other's contact details.
• Closed jobs are kept for history but no longer appear in search.

We use access rules in our database so that private details are only returned to the people allowed to see them, and connections use encrypted HTTPS. No website can promise complete security, so please do not put information in your profile that you would not want a company to read.

We may update this page when the site changes. The current version is always the one shown here.

To change or remove your details, sign in and edit your Profile. For other privacy questions or requests, email contacthasitha24hr@gmail.com from your account email. Use Report this job only to report a job listing.

• Use jobss.today honestly. Post only real jobs and true details about yourself or your company.
• Do not ask people looking for work for money to get a job, and do not post misleading, illegal or offensive content.
• Jobs from other websites belong to those websites. We show a short summary and link to the original listing; check the details there before you apply.
• We may remove listings or accounts that break these rules. We do not guarantee that any job, application or connection leads to work.

Passes are one-time payments for a fixed number of days. They do not renew automatically.

If a confirmed payment does not activate your pass, or you are charged twice for the same pass, email support with your account email and the payment date and we will look into it.

Activated passes are digital and are generally not refundable, except where required by applicable law.
